@00:37Only the background is watercolor, the coloring on the characters was done on computer after drawing all the frames on paper. I don't think I ever had a final count of how many frames it was, but there were many many large stacks of paper.

I pretty much only played Super Mario Bros when I was little, and I am not old enough to have played Dragon's Lair when it came up so I guess I never really saw it.
